1. Create Catalog
The first step is to create a pricing catalog. A catalog defines the products you want to offer at wholesale prices and the discount applied to them.

What you need to do:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Give your catalog a name (e.g., "Wholesale Catalog", "VIP Pricing", "Distributor Rates") |
| Primary Currency | Automatically set based on your store's primary market. This is the currency all prices will be displayed in. |
| Price Adjustment | Set a percentage decrease to apply across all products in this catalog. For example, "Decrease 20%" means all products will be 20% cheaper for B2B customers. |
| Rule Type | Choose between "Product and variant level" (pricing per product) or "Cart and checkout level" (rules applied at checkout). |
| Products | Search and select the products you want to include in this catalog. You can browse all store products in the "All" tab and view included ones in the "Included" tab. |
Important: You must include at least one product to your catalog before you can proceed to the next step. The "Next" button will be disabled until a product is added.
Tip: Start with a broad discount percentage. You can always fine-tune individual product prices later from the catalog detail page after completing the setup.
2. Create customer group
A customer group defines which customers receive your B2B / Wholesale pricing. Groups are linked to Shopify customer segments and can have multiple catalogs assigned to one customer group.

What you need to do:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Name your customer group (e.g., "Wholesale Customers", "Retailers", "Gold Tier") |
| Customer Segments | Click "Add segments" to assign Shopify customer segments. Customers in these segments will automatically receive this group's pricing. |
| Catalogs | Click "Add catalogs" to assign one or more pricing catalogs. If multiple catalogs are assigned, customers see the best available price. |
| Extra Discount | (Optional) Toggle on to apply an additional percentage or fixed-amount discount on top of catalog pricing. |
| Shipping Rules | (Optional) Toggle on to configure custom shipping rates - flat rate, percentage-based, or free shipping above a threshold. |
| Cart Limits | (Optional) Toggle on to set minimum/maximum order values or total unit limits per order. |
How segments work: Shopify customer segments are dynamic groups defined in your Shopify admin under Customers > Segments. You can create segments based on tags, spending, location, or any customer attribute. NetWise uses these segments to automatically match customers to the right pricing group.
Tip: For the initial setup, just configure the title, segment, and catalog. You can always come back to enable extra discounts, shipping rules, and cart limits later.
3. Enable store widget
The storefront widget displays your wholesale / B2B pricing on product pages. Without it, B2B customers won't see their special pricing when they login to the store.

What you need to do:
- Click the "Enable" button. This will open your Shopify Theme Editor in a new tab.
- In the Theme Editor, you'll see the NetWise app embed. Make sure it's toggled ON.
- Click "Save" in the Theme Editor.
- Return to the NetWise app and click the "Refresh" button to verify the widget is enabled.
Important: The "Next" button is disabled until the widget is detected as enabled. After enabling it in the Theme Editor, you must click "Refresh" in NetWise for the status to update.
Tip: The widget is a global app embed that works across all product pages. It automatically shows the wholesale price, discount percentage, and volume pricing tiers (if configured) to eligible B2B customers.
4. Add testing account
Before going live, add your own email address as a test account. This lets you preview the B2B pricing experience as a wholesale customer would see it.

What you need to do:
- Enter your email address in the text field.
- Click "Add" to save the testing account.
- NetWise will automatically add this email to the customer segment you configured in Step 2.
What happens next: Once added, you can browse your store while logged in with this email and see the wholesale pricing in action. This is the best way to verify everything is working correctly before publishing.
Tip: Make sure the email you enter matches an existing Shopify customer account in your store, or create one first. You can edit or change the testing email at any time.
5. Review & Publish
This final step gives you an overview of everything you've configured. Review each item and click "Publish" when you're ready to make your B2B pricing live.

What's on this screen:
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer Group | Shows the group you created with its assigned segment and catalog. Click "Created" dropdown to see details or click "Edit" to go back and make changes. |
| Catalog | Shows your pricing catalog with the discount configuration. Click "Created" dropdown to review the adjustment percentage and status. |
| Testing Account | Confirms that a test email has been added to the customer segment for preview testing. |
| Product Page Widget | Confirms the storefront widget is enabled and B2B customers can see wholesale pricing. |
Before publishing: All changes are currently in draft mode. Nothing is visible to your customers until you click "Publish". This gives you a chance to test everything first.
What "Publish" does: Clicking "Publish" will activate both your catalog and customer group, making B2B pricing live on your store. Customers in the assigned segment will immediately start seeing wholesale prices.
Tip: If you need to make changes after publishing, you can always edit your catalogs and customer groups from the Price Lists section in the NetWise dashboard. Changes take effect within a few minutes.
